At our "Save Tugulawa Park Community Meeting" residents expressed frustration that the Brisbane City Council backpedalled on its assurance that Tugulawa Park would remain untouched, parkland will be reduced and trees felled en masse, streets will become even more congested and the AFL oval promised in the neighbourhood plan seems to be shrinking every day.

The community plan to resist by attending a community picnic in the park and writing submissions.

Next Tuesday the 25th a group of us will be meeting at 6pm at "The Upper Deck" on Oxford St to begin organising the picnic and the submission writing campaign.
