Disabled people should be valued as equal members of our communities and provided the supports and services needed to live a good life. Yet decades of privatisation and cuts to our health system from both major parties, and underfunding of the NDIS by the Liberals, have made accessing support difficult and stressful for so many. The Greens will fully fund the NDIS with an extra $4.6 billion and remove the arbitrary staffing cap for the NDIS so that disabled people can access well-trained staff.
