We’re putting on a free community BBQ at the start of March at West End’s glorious Orleigh Park. Come and chat with Max and the team, meet some new neighbours, and take a night off cooking.

Anyone is welcome to come down for a meal and the chance to get to know your neighbours. We will have vegetarian and gluten-free options available, as well as some children's activities for the young ones.

Orleigh Park boasts hundred-year-old trees, a frog tongue slippery dip at the children’s playground, picnic pavilions, swings, and access connected by a walking path suitable for young children, wheelchairs, and bikes.

We know that many households are doing it tough right now, as the cost of living soars. So, take a night off from cooking, bring a picnic blanket, and come grab a free bite to eat!

This is also an opportunity to come and meet your Greens Councillor for the Gabba Ward, Trina Massey, and Amy MacMahon, the Greens MP for South Brisbane. Both will be stopping by to say hello.
