We’d love to see you and your family for an end of year celebration in the much-loved Tugulawa Park. Recently, Brisbane City Council approved the Bulimba Barracks master plan, which will see our park destroyed for a road. This garden was created to resist the development, and by coming together in force we will continue the fight to save our park. We hope you will join us. 

What to expect on the day

• Free BBQ with gluten-free and vegan options. 
• Sit down with the neighbours you haven’t met yet, and enjoy the community Christmas spirit. Feel free to bring food that will complement the BBQ. BYO cutlery and crockery. 
• Live music on the lawn. Bring some drinks, some snacks and a picnic blanket and relax on the lawn for some afternoon tunes. 
• Tours of Tugulawa Park Community Garden. Members of the community garden will be at the event to show you around and tell you how to get involved. You could even go home with some fresh herbs.

The park is wheelchair accessible.
