Join us for our biggest rally yet.
Brisbane Airport Corporation thinks they can ignore us. That they can use our city as one big money-making opportunity, maximising the number of flights over our suburbs regardless of the human or environmental cost. But just like residents in Sydney who won a curfew and cap on flights, we can use people power to win real positive change.
At our first rally outside their headquarters, BAC literally locked us out, locking their doors to the very community they claim they consulted for the new runway. BAC clearly felt the pressure, but if we want to win then we need to keep it up.
This time we will be targeting one of BAC’s biggest shareholders, Queensland Investment Corporation (QIC).
We’ll be meeting outside QIC’s headquarters in the city (66 Eagle Street) on Friday 22nd October at 12.30pm.
I look forward to seeing you there.
