Curious about how we support our local community or thinking about volunteering? You’re not alone! Many people tell me the biggest barrier to volunteering is simply knowing where to start, who needs help, and how it might fit into their busy lives.

If this sounds familiar, join my team for their very first Mutual Aid Sign-Up and Info Dinner on Monday, November 25, at Hanlon Park in Greenslopes. Meet Patience and Luisa, my mutual aid leaders from 5:30-6:30 pm to explore all the ways you can get involved in our free community programs.

This evening is open to everyone, no strings attached! If you’re curious about joining the Mutual Aid Team, want to meet some current team members, or just see what we’re all about, this is your chance. Luisa and Patience will walk you through the practical side of volunteering and show you the impact of our work firsthand. You’ll even meet some of our favorite regulars and enjoy a free dinner.
