With polls incredibly tight across the country, keeping Brisbane, Ryan and Griffith Green means Peter Dutton’s goal of becoming prime minister becomes nearly impossible.

It also means we keep strong voices in parliament who will push Labor to act. On climate, on housing, on the cost of living.

We know that Labor alone won’t take action on the things that matter. Since being elected they have approved 30 new coal and gas mines and failed to act on the housing crisis.

Holding our seats in Brisbane could be the difference between a Dutton minority government with Katter, or a Labor minority government negotiating with the Greens to deliver things like dental into Medicare, no new coal and gas, and taxing billionaires.

That’s worth fighting for.
