Big Ideas to Fix the Housing Crisis

In the last three years rents have gone up $216 a week, while house prices have increased by almost 55%.

Whether you’re impacted yourself, worried about your kids’ future, or disturbed by the tents popping up across the city, I know most people in our community agree that we need serious action to tackle the housing crisis.

This issue is a top priority for me, so I wanted to invite you along to this community forum to hear more about what steps I’ve been taking as your representative to secure meaningful action from the Government. So far, I’ve already been able to secure a new $3 billion investment in public housing- but that’s just a start.

At this forum you’ll have a chance to share your feedback, as well as ask both me, and Kath Angus any questions you have about local issues including:

  • Tackling unsustainable flight noise
  • How we stop the ridiculous Gabba demolition once and for all
  • Planning for the future of our city, including ensuring we have the infrastructure a growing city needs

Or anything else!

All are welcome, but please ensure you RSVP so we can keep you updated in case of last minute changes.
