Climate Response Team

Tropical Cyclone Alfred Update: We'll be organising teams of volunteers on the ground this week to assist with preparations, including loading sandbags at depos and helping out low-mobility or vulnerable residents. Following the cyclone's impacts we'll assess the community need to be dispatching volunteers to assist with clean up, advocacy and community support as required. Please sign up here to stay in the loop if you'd like to be part of this response effort.

Join Our Climate Response Team

As our community faces the growing challenges of climate-related events like floods and extreme heat, we need your support. We’re putting together a team of dedicated volunteers who can lend a hand when disaster strikes, whether it's distributing supplies, setting up pop-up dinners, or providing essential services to those in need. Max and the team did incredible work during the 2022 floods, and with the possibility of more extreme weather next year, we’re preparing once again.

By signing up, you’ll be part of an important network we can call on when needed most. It’s also helpful for us to know if you own a ute, a sedan, or no car at all—this information will guide how we can best utilise your skills and resources in the event of a emergency.

Together, we can build a stronger, more resilient community—one that's ready to act if disaster strikes.
