Every year, over 2 million people in Australia skip seeing the dentist because of the cost. This places a significant burden on our health system, with people presenting to emergency departments with major health issues that could have been prevented with regular checkups.
The Greens in parliament plan to push the federal government to bring dental into Medicare for everyone.
