In a wealthy nation like Australia, no one should be going without

I’m Max. In 2022, off the back of one of the largest people-powered campaigns Australian has ever seen, you elected me as your local MP for Griffith. It's been the greatest honour of my life to fight for you in Canberra. 

Since then, I’ve negotiated $3.5 billion for social housing, delivered 60,000 free meals in Griffith (paid for from my salary), and pushed Labor to legislate stronger climate laws. 

And we’re only just getting started. If you're worried about the future, there's hope. Together, we can challenge the stranglehold big corporations have on our political system, and fund the solutions we need on housing, cost of living & climate.


What We've Delivered

Because our community voted Green last election, I've been able to secure huge wins for Griffith

$3.5 billion for social housing
The Greens and I have substantially improved and passed all of Labor’s three housing bills – securing six times what the government originally planned to spend on social housing.
Free school supplies for thousands of local families
We've delivered thousands of dollars worth of school supplies across the electorate, through yearly back-to-school programs, supporting local families doing it tough during this cost of living crisis.
Stronger climate laws
We’ve stopped taxpayer money going to new coal and gas projects, and added protection for water from gas fracking projects.
40,000 free school brekkies in local schools (paid for from my salary)
Since being elected, I’ve set up free school breakfast programs at 4 public schools, including at West End State School and State High. I’ve donated $80,000 of my salary to make this program happen.
More free GPs
Pressured Labor and the Coalition to adopt the Greens plan to triple the bulk-billing incentive rate for everyone, making it easier for anyone to see the GP for free, and secured another Medicare Urgent Care clinic right here in Griffith.
